Trying to play Big 10 football... Players shifting around... Couldn't even move the ball on ucf in that one horrible game. Look at what he's done with the offense now! Wow. (2) FSU killed our defense. I mean that was like a rottweiler going to town on a kitten. And then we've been playing like old ladies; no aggression whatsoever. How many times did the D hit the UConn QB? We blitzed and applied quite a bit of pressure! Never in my wildest dreams did I think these changes would happen. I'm a happy Bull! Finally, this is USF football!

It will be interesting if it was because UConn line and immobile QB or will we be able to repeat against teams remaining on our schedule. I have to see some consistent output before I declare we are "there". Upcoming teams will try to prepare/adjust after seeing us turn it up. But it was a heckuva lot more fun to watch than the soft prevent. Hope to see more aggressive play.

I am a firm believer that he ran that offense as plain as it was because he didn't have the players to run something more advanced. While he always has and always will be a run first coachbeven his offense at WKU wasn't as vanilla as his first year or 2 here.

It's encouraging to think that coach can tweak the team in realtime to respond to opponents' strategic changes

Finally, this is USF football! I was thinking the same thing. We need to play aggressive on defense like we do on offense. If we get burned on a blitz now and then I can live with that. It's not like we can't score points to make it up. Watching the defense in a lot of games this year has been demoralizing at times.
