I was really impressed at what Syracuse did on going for so many 4th downs -and making them.

I like how we are doing the same on some 4th down situations now.

Every time we went for it on 4th it was the right decision...thats just good coaching.  Sometimes you have to be agressive depending on down and distance and field position.  Any time we're over the 50 we need to go for it unless its unreasonable with down/distance.

I love that we are going for it. 4th and 1-3 inside the opponents 50 its guaranteed. And I think we haven't been stopped until tonight with UCONN!

Really aggressive, keeps the drive going and our defense off the field.

Yep, even though we were stopped that one time it was the absolute right decision.  My only coaching concerns were at the end of the first half.  Just run the ball and run out the clock.  I don't want to have to punt if we don't have to.

IIRC, we were 7 for 7 going into the game and 3 for 4 last night

I'll take those odds all season long!

You can say a lot of stuff about CWT but he has shown an absolute willingness to adapt on offense if he sees something that could work for us.

Much more aggressive with the offense in the last two seasons. It's a stark difference to his first two seasons here.

It's virtually guaranteed that this team can get 1 or 2 yards with these athletes. They can just hit the holes fast and quick and always seem to break the first tackle. CWT and QF are figuring out what this offense can do and taking chances like that keeps momentum going. It's exciting!
