I still remember very clearly what it was like when I was a freshman and there was no football at USF (1989). It was the worst feeling in the world to live in the dorms when there was college football all over and there was nothing going on with us. I think it got so bad that I had to go to Tallahassee and watch the 'Noles play Miami; Lawrence Dawsey was a senior WR and was returning kickoffs in that game. Anyway...

National TV and about to kick some 'Nole tail all over the place, THIS IS THE DREAM REALIZED!

Went back and watched the Kansas game.  That was awesome.  Nationally ranked team at home.   Feels the same way today.
