Pretty positive if we had the 09 defense we would win this game on sat. 

I just dont know how good our current defense is.

At the time, we didn't know how good our offense was though. Now at least we know our offense is elite

I wouldn't go as far as calling them elite. Lets see them vs a decent D before calling them elite.

Who says FSU has a decent defense? They are giving up 6.4 yards per play. They gave up 5 yards/play at home against Charleston Southern. By contrast, I don't think our defense is great by any means, but, we're giving up 4.3/play and only gave up 5.23/play against Cuse (I understand that you can't count the previous games a whole lot).

Interesting stat... we are dead last in amount of plays our defense has been on the field... I know we have played some fast paced offenses and we score very quickly, but, I hope that we don't get in a situation in this game, or, later in the year to need a crucial stop by the defense at the end of the game. They are bound to have some fatigue setting in at some point. Good news is, as long as the offense scores, the bend-dont-break defense should work very well for us. The three teams we have played also all play quickly, so, it's somewhat a function of the opponent.

He didn't say FSU is that decent defense.
