I think Shaun King is having QF change the motion or something. I went back and watched the Temple game and QF did just fine.

Now, it seems like sometimes he can't hit a barn.

We have to be patient. Something is going on there (with whatever changes).

It's all in his footwork. When he sets his feet and throws from a good base he drops dimes.  If he can get more consistent with his footwork this offense will put up video game numbers.

I think you're looking for excuses. Short/intermediate throws aren't his bread and butter. Never have been. Likely, never will be. Throw the deep ball and let receivers adjust under it. Scramble like a mf'er.

Wait, are the short throws an issue?

Only way to fix it is to keep working on it.

He was even more inconsistent last year than he is this year.  Nothing with the motion, it's all about getting his feet set.

Or so I've heard.

Hopefully AW will get a look when he gets back, will be interesting to see what a QB with NFL potential can do.

Clearly we don't need a QB with NFL potential playing for the Bulls, otherwise Steven Bench would have had a better shot.

The old UVA coach on the stream kept saying QF's footwork was off, and mentioned it might be due to his nervous energy, or words to that effect.
