 I don't think they matter but I would say its not the end all be all.  Our recruiting classes are no where near UF or FSU but some how we are a better team than they were this year.  Wether thats because of Coaching, Scheme or players or a combination of all.  Or even recruiting rating bias.  Im on the side of its a combination of all of those this year.  I don't start getting excited about anyone until I see them play.

Some of our starters/rotation players were some of the lowest rated. Nico Sawtell, Jaymon Thomas, Bruce Hector, Auggie, Juwan Brown, Tice, Kegler, Pinkney.  Were all some of the lowest rated recruits we have.  In fact weve been so consistent with our lower rated recruits that I now keep a close eye on who they are.  Which bodes well for Grier, Copeland and Ford this class. I bet one of them or more turn out good for us.

What xCJL, xCSH, and xCWT did means nada now that none of them are our coach. I do believe that many lower rated players end up playing big roles for us, that has nothing to do with the lower rated players that CCS brings in. We'll see if he is as successful as out previous coaches were in uncovering diamond in the rough. But the statement that stars don't matter is still bogus.

Yes, we WILL see.

I think all three of those players will play well above their current ranking, because I believe they are underrated.

I may not be around then, but it will be interesting to see how well they each did while at USF.

Hopefully, someone remembers this thread and updates their progress at that time.
