I hear from several people say that Muschamp is bad.  I do not know if I can go along with that accusation.  I think the issues in Gainesville are deeper than just Muschamp.  More of a institutional problem with regards to Boosters.  

 

I was listening to interviews and the topic of Urban Meyer at UF came up.  What I learned is that the stress from the Boosters to Meyer was so great, just to be able to get some form of sleep he would have to mix scotch and Ambien together.  So when the claims of health issues arose, they were partly true.  This was news to me, never knew that.

 

Also when one looks over the 2006 UF roster where they won the natty, one will see that at least 40 of those players have been arrested since then for some form of crime committed.  Well that would leave me to question the criminal element that was brought into the institution.

 

Combine the possible criminal element with the stress from the boosters to win at all cost, one has a recipe for some serious problems.  Until the program is addressed from the top down and the Boosters are pushed back, I am not sure the UF issues can be fixed anytime soon.

 

I look at Muschamp's  defenses he puts together.  He can get talent and build a defense.  What was it, 149 yards Mizzou put up but scored 43?  The defense did their job.  That's why I am not sold on the idea Muschamp is bad.   I think if Muschamp was at a smaller place without intrusion into the program from Boosters like at UF, he would excel.  Be it a G5 program like USF, UCF, ECU, etc...  I do not think Muschamp is the problem though, I think UF institutionally is the problem.

Driskel is bad, bad, bad.  Muschamp has no excuse for not being able to either recruit better talent, or, if the talent is there, not getting them on the field.

More damning than the Winston report, I think, but I'm also somewhat biased.

 

But, still a sketchy situation. They where friends, she was drunk, I assume he was contrary to what he says. She wanted to go back to the room with him, but had sex literally an hour before. Probably was really embarassed...
