Definitely not calling a fair game. Block in the back and a couple of jersey grabbing going badgers way.

Shame...its almost like these games are fixed.

I just got finished watching the game and that was the conclusion, other than the fact that Wisconsin is severely overrated.

Bulls were whistled 11 for 90

Wisconsin 4 for 35 despite numerous offensive holds, takedowns and blocks in the back.

When they play a team that gets some respect, their one dimensional offense will not be enough. They were allowed to open lanes using WWE moves. Those gross holds will be called against good teams.

Not impressed.

Bulls played hard, not taking anything away from them, but Wisconsin was unimpressive.

The refs were treating it as a scrimmage for Wisconsin.

Agree 100%

That horse-collar call could just as easily been called a facemask on the runner--he grabbed Ward's mask & yanked him around. I'd have thrown him down any way possible too!

Yeah, that was so much more obvious than the alleged horse collar.

Wisconsin has had a very good defense under Dave Aranda and continued into this game.  USF had difficulty moving the ball despite a couple instances having very good field position.  The difference between the two teams is being able to make an impact both offensively and defensively.

Complain all you want, but the game wasn't very close statistically... at all.

It wasn't.  You're like our own little smazza.  it's an observation, not saying it was the difference in the game.

But here is a fun fact:  USF outgained Wisconsin per play 6.4 to 6.1

You just had about twice the plays.

I watched the game at a bar in NYC.  I commented to my tablemates that if I were a South Florida fan I'd be PO'd at the refs. They agreed with me.  Especially about that sequence in the fourth quarter.

Now I was watching on a fairly old wide screen that didn't have the best resolution or even very good color so maybe when I watch it at home I'll get a chance to see things better and replay some of the calls.  So I could change my mind.

Not the calls so much but there were a large number of questionable spots.

I think I agree with you, but sometimes the camera angles mislead us viewers.

@sharpejw: If Wisconsin ever got called for holding, they'd literally never run a play.
