I think the only leverage the non p5 teams have is in others sports besides football. If they won't play non p5 in football, then the non p5 should say it goes the same way for hoops, women's sports, etc.

I find myself cheering for P5 teams to take losses v non-P5s each time.

I refer back to my original post that started this thread.  The "Pig 5" needs to watch out.  PSU escaped as UCF should have won that game.  Hate UCF if you must, but they are solid.

 

As I type GA Southern is putting it to NC State.  The college football story of the year would be Navy beating OSU.

I wouldn't call it PSU "escaping" UCF.

 

Both teams made mistakes that kept the other team in it.

So you can just as easily say that PSU kept UCF in the game
