Guy I am most interested in seeing play is Swanson. It will be interesting to see what 206 or 215 pound running back can do with a 253lb load as an escort. If the OL gets any kind of consistent push I think it will be fun to see this offense run the way it is supposed be run. Grind it out 3 or 4 yards at a time then dump it off to the TE or a back on a screen or play action.

 

 

Yessss ... in the brief few minutes I spoke with Mike White at the Bulls Rally, he said the OL has gotten BIG - he expects them to be people movers this year. 

 

Combine a cleared gap by our OL and a RB tailing behind a mammoth like Swanson in the backfield should could lead to some good things.   At least, I'm sure hopin' and wishin'.

Hassan Childs the only true Freshman to crack the 2-deep so far - and we had the best class in the G5.

 

Says a lot for our season. 13-0 here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must've missed the story about Clavion Nelson moving to OL, and Corian Hamilton moving to FB.

 

Guess I missed the story of Max Lang being unable to play...and just read that Pierre's career is over (sad for him, but wouldn't be stellar with him getting the bulk of carries, I suspect).

 

In many cases, the 2 deep is the same as starting line up...too close to call, and plenty of time for each level.

 

2 deep looks good...encouraging.

There will definitely be changes - doesn't include the new recruits (presumably) and can be used as a tool by the staff to push whoever they want.

Hope Eatman is much better and tougher this year. Glad Thor is back and I feel for sure we will see Swanson in the backfield first game. Go Bulls!!
