I have been on the site in the past and it seems like most of the stuff is outdated and the newer things aren't on the website. I mean if you look at the site, they have old football jerseys from maybe 3 seasons ago marked at $70? (new ones at the bookstore are that price) Adidas Big East basketball jerseys for $80? (This may be in part because I think they don't sell under armour gear anymore, I'm guessing it was too expensive to keep in stock). They also have a whole section on the left hand side for "Notre Dame Game Gear", which also screams dated. Presentation is a big part in selling merchandise, especially online. Also, do they even sell anyhting graduation related? Dipolma frames? Announcements? Maybe a rental service for regalia? I know I had to buy my masters regaila outright but would have been nice to be able to just rent it for a cheaper price. I agree that we all need Bulls Outfitter to succeed, otherwise the bookstore will basically have a monopoly on Bulls gear in the Tampa Bay area, but they do need to work on some things on their own to get more business in and find other revenue streams in a down market. THIS. These pleas are worthless when they've neglected their website for years. They have missed out on plenty of money I have spent elsewhere because their website is basically non-functional. The next time I'm up near USF I'll check it out and pick up some stuff.

Are you really talking like this about the only person in Tampa who has all Bulls merchandise and supports all USF sports and events

What do you expect when you make it difficult for people to support you?

I think it may be sort of Catch 22 scenario: no need to update the web site 'cause we don't sell much via the web, and the reason you don't sell much is because of the level of attention the web presence garners. I swing by, and pick up something on an annual basis, but my purchases won't be putting them in the black. I'd hate to see them close, but this is one of the perils of being tied to the ups and downs of USF football. If attendance is waning, there's probably not much demand to purchase memorabilia. And not unlike the overall marketing needs for USF, I think a lot of the OGs have a sufficient supply of attire or merchandise and Outfitter needs that influx of new interest. Un-freakin-believable! The guy is THE real life Schleprock! If he hasn't been sent to pasture or the glue factory by the time football season starts, I predict a repeat of last year. I visit there every time I am in Tampa. The website has needed attention for a long time. Many times, the website has given the impression the place was closed, with pics not loading up and all. Yeah, I buy new Bulls stuff every year, and have been to the site multiple times over the years. Recently I couldn't find any new merchandise and there were empty links, so I thought the store might have closed. Seems like a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'll visit again soon and try to find some new gear for my crew.
