I agree with most things you say. Disagree here and I think you probably disagree with yourself. You usually state that USF has no business scheduling lower level programs. At the time they were a lower level program than we were. We had destroyed them 64-12. We had beaten them 4 straight games.

Yes, they have done a great job of building their program, but at the time we moved on it was the right thing to do for us to continue moving where we needed to be. Scheduling Miami on a yearly basis was more important than scheduling them.

Firing CJL, hiring Holtz had nothing to do with playing UCF.

I bet, that if we had kept playing UCF... Their best years would have happened sooner.
