Its being reported that the AAC will play a bowl game in Orlando yearly vs a Sun Belt Team.  Announcement supposed to come out by Wed.  Not sure if it will start in 2014 or 2015.   Game to be played in Citrus Dump before the Other 2 bowls already being played there.

 

The Citrus Bowl is being remodeled this year. It will not be a dump any longer once they're done. 

 

But realy? The sun belt? We couldn't have gotten a better opponent for the conference? Why don't we have any games against the MWC, they're a decent conference.

I'm all for more bowl match ups, but this is a garbage situation for USF.

 

A) It's too close. Everyone has been Orlando.

B) There is no benefit to beating a Sun Belt team.

 

USF hasn't been to a bowl game in years though, so maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.

Why don't we play a bowl game against a Big 10 school? 

 

Bahamas bowl? Cannot justify spending the money to watch a game against a MAC opponent.

Bahamas are not an expensive trip if you know where to stay. Just depends on if you like your rolling blackouts and loss of water pressure with or without a view.

What money? 

It's not about whether you do - or do not - travel to watch this. The important thing is that it fills up three hours of the broadcast day in which advertising

can be sold. I doubt anyone, even the Brain Trust in Bristol, Connecticut has given attendance another thought.

This is not a good idea. Take another bowl with the MWC before you do the sunbelt. Pathetic.

I wouldn't travel to this bowl game if it were on campus...

Bit of an oxymoron there. If it were "on campus" would you actually have to travel to it? Unless of course you lived elsewhere in which case you would travel to everything. Is this your best attempt at a positive outlook?
