Sun Ridge was easily the nicest apartment set up I had even been to at USF back in 2006.

 

Edit to add most or all of them were sold and converted to condos.  So, I'm not entirely sure how they are run anymore.

I lived at the Gates Apts on 30th (BBDowns), just a block or so north of Fletcher on the east side of 30th. They were decent, and walking distance to school.

It looks like The Lodge is a little out of my price range. As a graduate student, I'll most likely be rather poor for a couple of years. So the cheaper the better. There's a complex across Fowler, the Park at Rialto, I'm going to check out today.

 

Rialto is really nice. Quiet area. My friend lives there right now and its not bad at all. Plus they just got new management who has been renovating it to make it even nicer.

Try renting a place in Raintree off of Fowler Ave. Easy traffic access to USF, and you're located close to I-75.

This is what I said. Good area, older crowd, close to I-75 and close to USF.
