      The team hosted 26 draft prospects Friday who played locally in high school or college; the Bucs only confirmed hosting former Plant High and Florida State running back James Wilder, son of the team's all-time leading rusher.

       

      Seven others were confirmed as being in attendance: lineman Jon Halapio (St. Petersburg Catholic and Florida), lineman Will Latu (Gibbs and Abilene Christian), receiver Bernard Reedy (Lakewood and Toledo), athlete Jeremy Deering (Leto and Rutgers), lineman Matt Patchan (Armwood, Florida and Boston College), defensive end Ryne Giddins (Armwood and USF) and defensive back Fidel Montgomery (USF).

          I read somewhere Landi was there too.  Listed as TE/LS.  Some make a good living as long snapper.

            Landi was actually signed as a FA last year by the Bucs and then released. Would be cool if the new regime is taking another looking at him.

                  Great they were invited to the workout, I wonder if other teams do that with local talent? Hope they can cash in...

                    Landi was at NFL Super Regional combine in Detroit this weekend. Could get signed from there, but it's not a Bucs event ...
