Does COA get some extra time because of the coaching change?

This team will be much improved next year.

His offense was always set up for 1-2 players to do most of the scoring while the others set up those players to score. When DJ was here he set up the offense around him and after he left he tried to have Gus be the main scorer and after Gus left it was Rudd. I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable in its technicalities as some of the posters here (types of defense/schemes, I don't know exactly the difference between a small forward, power forward, and However for the years I watched Bulls basketball, I was amazed and how bad the offense continually was. I arrived at USF when Heath was already here, so I never saw them play with previous coaches (or even less who they are other than what I've read here.) The defense could be pretty decent at times, but when they have the ball, it was almost always: 1. Dribble to opponents end and take positions at the 3 point line 2. Pass the ball to each other while standing at the 3 point line. (Keep this until there is about 5 - 7 sec left on the shot clock.) 3. Attempt an ill advised basket wherever you are even if the possibility of making it is 0.

Worked out well for them. It sure helps when you have Napier and Boatright taking those shots down the stretch rather than the ball in the hands of McClendon. Also makes a big difference when you make a high percentage of foul shots. At some point talent makes a difference. Why McClendon had the ball in his hands so many times at the end of close games is beyond me. Remind me again, how many games did we lose by just a few points.
