I don't know if anyone else caught this, but a USF football player made an appearance on the Daily Show!  Jon Stewart was doing a segment about the unionization of Northwestern football players.  In part of the segment he showed a photograph of two college football players.  One was from Kansas State, and the other was from USF!  The football helmet logo was very visible.

Hope this brings more awareness to our program.

Maybe someone has a screen cap from it?  The episode aired last night.

Checked the records. We never did. We played Kansas though.

Never understood people who rely upon comedians for their political thoughts. Stewart and Colbert are funny, but if you think they are deep thinkers because they're witty and cute, well... You're probably still in college. Incidentally, "infotainers" like O'Reilly and Hannity are only a smidgen better.

Pick up the Wall Street Journal or New York Times. Read a columnist. There's actually some political analysis going on there.

EDIT: Don't mean to suggest you can't or shouldn't enjoy all of these folks. I do. But I cringe when I see polls that say young people get their news from comedians...

Ironically enough the best source for (as close to) non-biased reporting on US issues comes from abroad. I'm a huge fan of The Economist and BBC. To keep things on topic, someone had to have photoshopped that picture, I don't recall us ever having played K-State in football.

Question is, why? Is Capital One a sponsor of the show?
