Thats just it. Mid 40s RPI with quality wins gets you in the tourney.

No it doesn't. I think CBS did a comparison. SMU was just as bubbly as teams in the previous years. They should have been in, but its not a "travesty"

After seeing what went on this season for USF to get an at large invite we would need to go 25 and 7 or 26 and 6. Our conference doesn't have the respect for anything worse from us.

A lot will depend on our OOC wins

I disagree. A quick look at 2012 and 2013 rpi and field would indicate otherwise. Teams with that rpi range from 8-12 seeds.

But I am interested in that CBS story if you have it handy.

I've googled the crap out of it. All I can find is a USA today saying its not egregious. They finished the regular season with a RPI of 53.
