Lots of guys that Prado recruited that wound up foregoing USF to make some serious cash in the MLB's though. Unfortunately, those guys don't count as USF alumni.

Quackenbush Called Up to Big Leagues

    By TOM ZEBOLD

    USF Senior Writer

TAMPA, MARCH 25, 2014 – Former USF closer Kevin Quackenbush has been rewarded for his years of stellar production in the minor leagues.

Quackenbush was selected by San Diego in the eighth round of the 2011 MLB First-Year Player Draft and was added to the Padres’ big league active roster Friday. Quackenbush is the second Bull on an MLB roster this year as Dan Otero continues to have a superb season as a reliever for the Oakland Athletics with a 3-0 record and a 0.79 ERA.

Quackenbush posted a 1.80 ERA in 10 innings of work for the Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas this season with four saves before getting his first call up to the big club. Quackenbush has been an All-Star four times in the minor leagues and pitched at five different levels before the promotion to the Padres.

Quackenbush led the Big East and ranked 13th nationally with 12 saves in his last season of college ball. He also set a school record for relievers with a 0.80 ERA in 2011. Before college, the right-hander pitched no-hitters in his junior and senior seasons at Jesuit High School in Tampa.

Can't remember his name off the top of my head, but was playing first base part time up to about 3 or 4 years ago.  May have ended his career with the Marlins??? Thinking a left handed hitter???
