**(White was recruiting by Taggart for at least 7 minutes, so we count him as a Taggart recruit instead of a Holtz recruit mostly because we think he is a great player so he is allowed to start this year)

He's a Taggart recruit because he committed to Taggart. This was a ridiculous observation the last time you broached it ...

It is a ridiculous observation every time someone says it was Taggart's great recruiting that landed him.  Taggart didn't identify him, talk to him or do a minute of recruiting until an assistant that had been recruiting him showed Taggart some film.  Taggart called and offered.  Wow!  Amazing job, him picking up the phone and all.

Pretty sure Holtz didn't offer him either. Taggart extended the offer and he immediately accepted.

Taggart extended the offer, White accepted, and stayed committed even when he got a Mississippi State offer.  Please tell me how he's a Holtz recruit?

You mean, other than the fact that it was Holtz and his staff that identified him and recruited him?  Can't think of a single reason...

You have to understand something about ShadowBull. He does crap like that strictly for the reaction. Many times, he's a more eloquent version of smazza.

He was offered by Taggart, accepted the offer and, and stayed comitted when a SEC school offered. Holtz NEVER offered. You're making yourself look silly, but that's par for the course for you.

Not to mentioned we CRUSHED our conference foes in recruiting. USF should be able to purely just out-talent most of the AAC on the field in a couple of seasons.

I don't think you get trophies for a decent recruiting class plus we "just out-talented" FAU and McNeese State last year and how did that work out for us??

Apples to oranges

1.This incoming class isnt just decent, its by far the most talented class ever recruited at USF. (several players were downgraded from 4 stars to 3 after committing here).

2. Our talent level on the team last year was ****. Holtz didnt fit in with our identity; couldn't recruit well here.

3. The team had to learn a completely new offense.  :icon_deadhorse:  (By the looks of the Spring game they certaintly look more confident running it now than they did at any time last year...Practice)

I love all the speculation.  Half the board is from Missouri "Show Me" state and the other half is from Florida "Sunshine" state.

Consider me a show me state guy

Show Me Sunshine!

WRONG, THAT DISTINCTION LIES WITH CJL AND HIS 2009 CLASS WHICH WAS RANKED TOP 30 WITH ALL THE RECRUITING SITES.

2. Our talent level on the team last year was ****. Holtz didnt fit in with our identity; couldn't recruit well here.

WRONG, THERE WAS TALENT AND THERE WAS CERTAINLY TALENT ENOUGH TO WIN AGAINST THE LIKES OF FAU AND MCNEESE STATE.

3. The team had to learn a completely new offense.  :icon_deadhorse:  (By the looks of the Spring game they certaintly look more confident running it now than they did at any time last year...Practice).

SO WHAT!, WINNING GAMES AND BEING SUCCESSFUL ISN'T GIVEN A HIATUS BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE "ALL THE GUYS YOU WANT".   WINNING GAMES AND WINNING THE CONFERENCE DOES NOT TAKE A BACKSEAT TO "RECRUITING YOUR PLAYERS".  STOP BEATING THE NONSENSE THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE TALENT.  IF YOU WANT TO CLAIM THAT TAGGART SACRIFICED HIS FIRST SEASON TO A PALTRY TWO WINS AND HORRIBLE LOSSES BECAUSE HE WAS TRYING TO MAKE PLAYERS RECRUITED FOR A DIFFERENT TYPE OF SYSTEM FIT INTO HIS SYSTEM WHICH IS FAIRLY COMPLEX, THEN FINE BUT PLEASE STOP SAYING WE DIDN'T HAVE TALENT, BECAUSE THAT'S A BALD FACE LIE.
