Why in the hell are some of these guys candidates? Masiello yes, White yes, Manning maybe, Antigua maybe, Neal no, Pelphrey no

 

Neal hasn't had a chance to prove he can do things past one season meaning let's prove something once the previous coach's players have left

But it should be noted that Neal only makes $750,000 and has not been offered a new contract despite winning 27 games and the Mountain West Conference tournament title this season, meaning USF could easily offer Neal more money than he's currently earning.

I hear ya Vega - but what I also see is someone with experience across many levels of the game. He may have won with another coach's players, however you don't just slide your way to 27 W's.
