Do any of you think that USF was going to pay $2.45 million for Pearl or $2.6 million for Buzz? I'm skeptical that we can even afford $2 million a year for a basketball coach. You guys have an inflated self worth.

YES, and they're short sighted idiots because they didn't. You get what you pay for in the world, except when you get lucky, very lucky (FGCU etal). That's the way it is life as it is in athletics. I deal with it daily, can you?

We're not there yet. No matter how much we want to be. If we ever build our athletic departments to be the powerhouse that Auburn or VT is then we can talk.
