        Same firm Harlan and Co. used to get Alford. . . . . .

         

        Same firm USF used months later that . . . . . magically produced Harlan. . . . . .

         

        Now we use them again.

         

         

        I got in the wrong business.

                    Do we really need to hire/ pay and use a search firm again (this time to hire a BB coach)?  USF loves to spend spend and spend money.   I get using a search firm for the AD search.(Since Judy is a busy women, has other things to worry about like the academic side of things ect...) But part of Harlan's job as AD (CEO of the athletic Dept is to hire and fire Coaches).   

                     

                    I get we are getting a nice chunk of change from the defectors(Ville,Pitt, Cuse, WVU and the likes) but do we need to spend it all on hiring firms?  We are not making the money we made in the BE with our new TV deal and with the way Football is heading (Power 5 and playoffs). (We might need the extra money down the road when we get the invite to a Power 5 conference and have to pay our exit fee)(wishful thinking here). 

                     

                    I think Harlan could had or should had made the hire without retaining a hiring firm.  

                     

                    Seems like we are pissing away money. Esp with all the money owed to current. former coachers and hiring firms.  Just a thought?

                      More of our money being pumped into this company. Students and donors are getting scammed here.
