Mulholland (Bradenton) allowed one run on seven hits, while striking out five and walking two, picking up his second straight victory. Mulholland's complete game performance led the Bulls to a 5-1 victory to open up the three game weekend set. Mulholland picked up the American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honors last week after a strong outing against Northwestern. In that start, Mulholland pitched eight shutout innings, allowing only three hits and striking out eight. So far this season, Mulholland ranks sixth in the American with 24 strikeouts. He has held batters to a .202 batting average against, good for ninth in the conference. UCF starting pitcher Eric Skoglund was named The American Pitcher of the Week, with Louisville infielder Zach Lucas being named Player of the Week. Also named to the Weekly Honor Roll were Tommy Williams of UCF, Ian Happ of Cincinnati, Andrew Zapata of UConn, and Caleb Barker of Houston.
