Anyone know if Buzz would love to work on a tan, and maybe hang-out with some Dale Mabry-type single mom's? If so, Tampa will be perfect! :thumbsup:

 

Come on PET, the guys happily married with four youngsters.  He's certainly not a scumbag like Petrino or Pearl.   ;)  He definitely hates the polar vortex that occurs annually around the Milwaukee area.

 

I wasn't aware he was amongst the married. He can still work on a tan, so his head doesn't gleam so much under those bright sundome lights.

But in all seriousness, raising our basketball coaches pay from 1.2 million to close to 2.5 million, more than double our football coach, just doesn't seem realistic.

Based on past coaching salaries and projected budget declines, we have a **** good idea what USF is capable of paying when it comes to this hire.

 

We don't know if Harlan has convinced Judy to dramatically increase those capabilities, but to say, "we have no idea" is about as wrong as you can get.

It would seem a really good hire, but we might be able to get another proven coach for a lot less. That may be more realistic for us, but I like the idea of Buzz as our coach.

Buzz is working this job for a raise.

Basketball doesn't make a much money (if at all) here. It's not a money sport, and probably never will be for awhile. We can't afford 2+ mil a year.

I think some people are green and gold goggling right now.
