Those of us who have been on the other side have sat by and supported USF thru some of our WORST years in Programs history while giving Doug/ Stan and the likes "One more year and raise". We showed up, continued to support and donate, And we continued to lose (lose badly to teams like McNeese State, Detroit ect...) Now its time to go a different direction (Harlan, Taggart and the new BB coach to be named).( a winning direction where people are held accountable and participation trophies are not what we are fighting for).(cant get worse, we are currently the worse BB and FB team in the conference). (one of the worse in the NCAA in BB in many statistical categories). Come back in 5 to 7 years and tell us if its worse or Better(which I suspect it will be ALOT better). We sat thru your experiment,(the Woolard ,Heath and Skip years) now buckle up and sit thru ours. There is room on the Bus(the winning starts now)!!! Go Bulls. 2

Plenty of blame to go around for USF's fall. You got to see the big picture, sport!!! Judy and the boosters had the say in hiring Woolard. They had a say in a lot of things. It is just easy for USF fans to put all the blame on Woolard cause that seems to be the safest and ooolest thing to do. It is cool to be one of the sheeps. GO BULLS!!!! I give her a little slack because she made the change( getting rid Woolard , Heath and Holtz). (whether she was forced too or not). Most Presidents unfort know little about athletics and rely on their AD'S (CEO of the Athletic Dept) to run them. Judy has a chance to not repeat history here, Harlan seems like a good hire, Hope he is, If not than she needs to pull the trigger, not reward it like she did with Doug. Now if Judy doesn't hold Harlan accountable than she needs to be shown the door as well. She does well when it comes to Grants, research dollars and getting the academic side out there. She needs to work on the Athletic side( hire the right AD and support staff and hold them accountable). Judy appears to be a smart woman so I think she learns from her mistake going forward.(Hope so for her sake). We cant make excuses. We have been making excuses for a long time. The time has come for USF to start moving forward and never look back. We thank Woolard for the fundraising that he did and getting top not facitlies. We thank Woolard for getting 1&1 deals with BIG TEN. I will not sit here and keep blaming people when it is already done. No excuses. USF is not in bad of shape as many would think. Take a drive on campus and look around

What you apparently can't quite grasp is that the "defenders" you're trying to target on this thread were also there through those "WORST" times , would be there if there were no changes made and will be there through this new direction also ... Unlike some of your fellow ***** and moaners who threatened to turn away from the athletic program ... so don't worry about us being there now, or 5 to 7 years from now ... We're good, thanks. But if the shoe fits, than I guess you can wear it. BTW glad your still on board as well. That makes 2 of us committed to buying lol. Would love to see EVERYONE stay on board, This year might be tuff with the way the AAC scheduled our home games( Front loaded). Esp after the trainwreck of a season last year. But hopefully with the Announcement of the New AD and the Hiring of a New BB Coach , people will see USF is committed to winning and they will come back this year. (20,000 fans at home FB games is pathetic and will take some winning to recover from).

There are plenty of programs out there that have never accomplished anything, and we may just join them for the next decade too. Anyone who predicts differently is blowing smoke in your pucker. I never liked Skip as a coach and since there was little returning experience it was time for a change. I felt Heath deserved one more year because of the talented youth forming a foundation for growth. The realistic expectation would have been at least on thr NCAA bubble next year or it would have been time for a change. If the next coach can't retain the core group of young guys, Collins and get Holston on campus and get that NCAA bubble performance it becomes the most idiotic coaching change in USF history. It wasn't a rebuilding situation it is a matter of a maturing process. The foundation is set in BB. New coach needs to build upon it. Not start over. That was what Skip did. He tore apart what just needed to be built upon.
