As someone stated on another thread, it's apparent that short of Coach K or someone like Rick Pitino or Billy Donovan, you will not like the hire.

This guy is a really solid coach looking at what he accomplished.  Two sweet 16's, Two final fours and one National Championship game.  Last year he won the Pac 10.

 

His teams missed the NCAA's 3 or 4 times in the last 14 years or so.

 

If he is available he appears like a no bainer.

I love his coaching resume for our job, I just wonder how he'd do with recruiting in the southeast, being a career-long west coast guy. I'd be willing to risk it for a shorter-term contract (3 years or so).
