Del Conte was associate athletic director at Arizona from 1999 to 2006

 

Still don't get the connection. Harlan was at Zona from 2007 to 2010

 

 

It's possible that Del Conte was in on his replacement interviews and that's how they met. Or they could have met at another athletics event that ended up guiding Harlan to Arizona in the first place. Connections pop up all over the place. That's the point of networking.

Harlan actually has a clear head about how to approach the realignment issue. 

 

It's like trying to get a job. You can obnoxiously pester your dream company, or you can look internally and ask what you need to do to get their attention. To be prepared and ready for that moment. It may take time. But that's a much better option.

Glad that someone from the Big 12 is talking about us,  Hopefully he continues to talk about us to Texas and Oklahoma and the others, esp if and WHEN they expand.    Want USF to be on their mind first and foremost.
