Looks like ECU or Houston will be our Homecoming.

Already thinking about combining SMU and Memphis trips.  Those were the 2 were thinking of going to and with them back to back, it may just work out.

Here is the problem (from a ticket sales department) ... if the team does good, it won't help ticket sales much, because by the time the public realizes it 4 of the 6 home games will be past.

Also, for non die hards, 4 home games in a row is a lot to ask.

We have 7 home games this year, but I agree with your statement about ticket sales. Hopefully we will do well and the last 3 home games will have a decent attendance. I'm sure the ucif game will have a large crowd. Edited by Nuke

We are going to find out real fast how or if Harlan will get more fans to RJS. I guess the positive side is that Maryland and NC ST should bring a good crowd. Hopefully, those teams will bring out more fans that are on the fence.

My bad on not being able to count.

UCF should be fine unless both schools have bad years.

No thursday night games? I could dance.

Toughest games will be Cincy on the road on a short week after flying all the way out to Tulsa the week before, and the short week game with UCF coming into town.

When it came to UCF at first sight I said to myself oh it wont matter we play Memphis...... then i remembered we lost to them last year I miss those days when playing memphis was as good as a bye week.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
