Warm ups are usually layups and jumpers. Free throw shooting is a practice activity

This.

I don't think I have ever seen a team practice free throws during warm-UPS.

2nd.

I've been going to NBA and cbb games my entire life and have never seen FT practice during warm ups. It's always layups and dunks.
