I love it, get the USF Sarasota campus involved bus some kids over have a crowd.  I just posted the link to my facebook, hopefully some of my friends will get over and support them

There weren't a lot of USF kids when I went there, the kids were primarily the New College students. It's not that far either. The time there were buses available to events it was for basketball at the Sun Dome. Alumni might make it, there are many in that area.

 

i think this is the first year they had a freshman class....also, things are a little bit different now that the two schools don't share as much when they built the new campus..besides you could always tell the USF from the New College kids because they had shoes on :D

Great idea...that high school generates a lot of talent.  I am sure our football players do not mind taking one for the program for a day.

This isn't a good sign. I know what he's trying to do, reach high school kids and all. But, the players on the team don't want to go back to playing in high school stadiums, they want to play in world class, college, multi-million dollar practice facilities that they have on campus. Hopefully, he can get a great recruit or two from this bush league move.

 

WTF they are not playing NCAA games in a hs stadium, they are going for 1 practice. I have a feeling these kids don't care, they are buying into Coat T and his plan and want to avenge last years pathetic performance. I don't think this has  a significant impact on our current players. However this could have a huge impact on one of the bigger schools in the Tampa area that we want to "build a wall around" Props to coach for following through on what he speaks and never resting when it comes to recruiting. The sooner you can build a relationship with these kids the more likely they will want to come play for our university. It is not bush league at all,

Believe Miami had a practice in Naples the last year or two.

 

That SW FL area is heavily UM. It'd be nice to chip away at their fanbase in this part of the state.

Two different areas though... Bradenton is definitely not UM territory.
