Team was 19 under par today, lead FSU, OSU, UF, Illini, Purdue, Auburn , Memphis and rest of field by 9 strokes, at our own invitational. What do these guys need to do to get a little love? Are there any REAL Bulls fans left in here? Dude, it is golf. Tiger drags down $80MM a year, 10x the best FB players. Dude, you're right, IT IS GOLF!!!!! Name - Pay - Salary/Winnings - Sport Tiger Woods - $78.1M - $13.1M - Golf Drew Brees - $51M - $40M - Football Not quite 10x more ---- But anyways.. we should support ALL USF sports teams Skins no 1- Pierre Garcon $8.1 Saints no 1- Drew Brees $17.4 Falcons no 1- Matt Ryan $9.6 with a source and link http://www.sportscity.com/nfl/salaries/atlanta-falcons-salaries/ Love how Forbes labels Tiger a college "dropout", He could buy the magazine with the money he spends on Jet fuel each week. I was a little off, but the point remains. Chase Koepka is going to make more his 1st year as a pro than ANY other USF athlete. The sponsors are drooling over him. JPP makes $2.9MM 8,106,250 Edited March 4, 2014 by Bullwinkle

JPP makes $2.9MM 8,106,250 So you are comparing actual football salary vs Wood's COMPLETE intake. You failed to include that Tiger Woods made 13M based on his golf tournaments The rest of the 65M comes from endorsements (which can vary WILDLY between players of any sports.) Which is why I included the information on my previous post that separated "Complete Pay" and "Salary/Winnings." Also you're basing your generalization on one player's endorsement, which is no where near the average of his profession. Here is where I obtained my data for the past post: http://www.forbes.com/athletes/list/ 5 Golf players make the top 100 highest paid athletes (when endorsements are included. (1, 7, 21, 78, 81) 13 Football players made the list: (5, 6, 11, 13, 19, 24, 31, 33, 38, 45, 50, 53, and 84.) The table is sortable, which makes it easy to compare by other statistics. Going by actual salary (or winnings) alone, Football players make 4 of the top 5 athletes. Also.. this is based on THIS YEARS winnings. One thing about golf is that you do not have a set salary. Your income can vary immensely year to year: From PGA winnings alone: 1996: $790,594 1997: $2,066,833 1998: $1,841,117 1999: $6,616,585 2000: $9,188,321 2001: $5,687,777 2002: $6,912,625 2003: $6,673,413 2004: $5,365,472 2005: $10,628,024 2006: $9,941,563 2007: $10,867,052 2008: $5,775,000 2009: $10,508,163 2010: $1,294,765 2011: $660,238 2012: $6,133,158 2013: $8,553,439 Tiger Woods on the World Money List (which includes world wide non-PGA tournaments): 2003: $6,700,288 2004: $5,819,407 2005: $11,515,939 2006: $11,141,827 2007: $11,002,706 2008: $6,196,717 2009: $10,948,054 2010: $2,154,516 2011: $1,940,238 http://golf.about.com/od/tigerwoods/f/tiger-woods-earnings.htm Additional confirmation: http://espn.go.com/golf/moneylist Edited March 4, 2014 by dogma

Those guys on the USF team are playing incredibly. For some ill informed poster to dismiss it like it's badminton is just stupid. Anyone have results from today yet? Always good to have a reason to cheer for our sports teams. The new facilities donated by Dr. Chowdhari must really be helping.

I'm sure every Bulls fan is happy for the USF team, but not everyone cares about golf, and just because most some posters aren't posting any "love" on this page for the USF team doesn't mean they're not real fans. NEB didn't dismiss it like it's badminton, he was reacting to your BS calling out of people that aren't posting their sheer joy stemming from the success of the golf team. So I am suppose to like the support because USF plays? The sport is boring to me that's all. I don't give two violation how much money they make. Good lord I hope we don't get a NASCAR team or I am really in trouble.
