USF and Rowdies tie 2-2.   Nice showing against against a professional team.

Looked like a big crowd at Corbett.

When I left the baseball game last night it was 2nd half of the soccer game, the crowd was still there and very into the match..  I think I saw a boxscore showing attendance of 1800 or so.

Too bad they couldn't somehow incorporate Corbett being the home stadium for the Rowdies.

Very similar color scheme.  Had them contribute some funds into the stadium to make it a little bigger.

Corbett fits 2000.  Rowdies avg attendance is 4k.

I know its a stretch, plus logistics and all.. but it would have been nice!

Man, those are fond memories of going to Rowdies games in the Sombrero during the mid/late 70s and 80s.  I still run into Mike Connell and Farrukh Quraishi from time-to-time.

Corbett would need more physical seating to even be in the conversation.  Some grass seating is OK, but seats are a big selling point.

I would imagine that when they were building Corbett (with the Rowdies joining/participating,) it would have been designed differently from the start to accommodate the extra seating (and other amenities.) Oh well... just a pipe dream

There's already plans to add more physical seating to the stadium. The men's team consistently pulls enough fans to make it worth it.
