Videos of the TheBullsPen get together in El Paso before the Sun Bowl. Doug Woolard and Judy Genshaft stop by. Look at all the people in the room and the feeling was probably the best ever among Bulls fans. ____ Eats It and BullyPulpit put it all together for us Bulls fans! Have been to every USF bowl game! Hopefully will say the same in 50 years. El Paso was a lot of fun. Well, right up until the 2nd half. Great times with Bullspenners regardless!! I only watched the first video but you can see me in the distance next to a buddy (who's bald) that I dragged to it along with a girl who's a friend at the 8:27/8:28 shoveling mexican food in my mouth in the right side of the frame. Funny thing is and I didn't know it at the time that __Eats It's wife was my son's third grade teacher. It's a small, small world out there. By the way, my general indifference concerning Doug Woolard would change abruptly shortly after this game and the prior season. It was a good time and life moves on. As was Bullheaded (Matt Harbert) & his wife. I like a joke as much as the next fella, I got a pretty good sense of humor, but I was sick as a dog after this little soiree. Got back to the hotel - which was just a few blocks away - and spent the night lovingly embracing the trash can. Game Day was going to literally be a game-day call. Same with Harbert. He didn't make it to the stadium. He tried to get there before the game was over, spent a few minutes, then went back out to paint the parking lot. By the second quarter, whatever demons possessed me were gone, but we left in the 4th quarter with minutes to play. Flew out after the game and stopped over for a while in Vegas. We got to chit-chat with a few players from Oregon at the airport and in Vegas. That twelve hours of plague aside, it was a great road trip. I'm pretty sure we flew out on Saturday and wheeled about the geography (stopped in some casino, had dinner with LakeBull & his wife, Matt & Lorraine at Cattlemen's, quick trip across to old Mejico). A great set of memories. Just seems like so long ago, though. Really, New Years Eve '07. Just seven short years.

Funny - Someone yelled "Thank you for Stan Heath!" Seven years later...
