Let's hope it's not for bball but for fundraising, facilities, and donor increases.

He worked football at a couple of his previous stops, it's not like the schools he came from had small-time football programs.

I'm done with facilities.  That's Doug's claim to fame for the last decade.

Real priorities:

Re-establish a commitment to winning - change the culture on Fowler

Hold coaches accountable

Re-position marketing away from the cute stuff and on to getting the community back on board

Speak to a vision for USF Athletics and make it happen

But without the cute stuff, how will Coach T drive his bus? On publix subs and wings?

Grabbed a chicken strip and havarty cheese sandwich; just awesome

Stan is a hell of a Nice guy but simple fact is if we were talking about football he'd been fired years ago.

Simple question, after what year would you have fired him years ago?

after the 2011 season

So 1 season after the 2nd or 3rd twenty win season in USF history? Gotcha.

Agreed.  This hire looks like an epic fail.

Don't forget that Doug Woolard extended Skip's contract. This was a financially awkward move. And that is a fact.

Why would coaches be consulted on the hiring of their boss?  I recently had a supervisor change and no one consulted me on the hiring of a candidate.

I can assure you Dr. Genshaft is far from a "moron".  She is highly intelligent.  If Jesus Christ was hired a few on this board will whine.

How will this hiring affect you?  Most of you have little more to do with USF than root for their sports teams.  Big deal!

If we hire JC, could HE get us into the Big XII?  Nope.

EDIT: Actually, I guess he could, but it would require an intervention of biblical proportions.
