I think Muschamp's hire of Brent Pease seems ill fated. Seems I hear AD Foley wants to hold onto Muschamp, but changing OC again will only stunt learning curve even more and could be another year of mediocrity before it solidifies. The fans are obviously way too spoiled and the boosters' expectations levels have been entirely too high ever since their first national title in the late 90s. They could have a coach go 11-1 five years straight AND win five straight Sugar Bowls against good teams, and still fire him for not getting into the national title game.

 

 

I for one, hope they give Muschamp a 10 year contract with a huge buyout. I feel if they don't go bowling (entirely possible being 4-5 with South Carolina, cupcake, and FSU on the docket), Muschamp gets the axe, and they'll go shelling out for an SEC assistant coach or the hot flavor of the year from the MAC or CUSA
