Question on Generators in TSA Lots

This is why I tailgate at a non TSA lot like the Bullbackers lot. Can set up the smoker nice and early. Plus they support all USF athletics.

I would assume I know the answer to this, but since you can't toss a Nerf football in the RayJay lots without getting a pseudo-ticket, I wanted to ask to be sure.

 

Are gas-powered generators allowed in Lots 6/7?  Have a potential deal on a pretty good one that would also be a good thing to have around the house, but wanted to be sure.

I thought of you all when we left my friends house on the way to Spartan Stadium. He said "oh hang on I need my football" I was awe struck at the opportunity to throw a football at a football tailgate.  

 

He still thinks I am lying about the restriction 

never had a problem with this. throw them all the time.

I think it's just an urban myth. my guys remember us from the past.  we're usually the first to arrive. nothing but hospitable. always very accomodating.

 

have never had a problem throwing a football around. just bought a new one for tailgating . find an open patch of grass and have at it.

I can promise it is not a myth, we were explicitly told to stop or they would bring the officers over to escort us off the property

I like the deep cycle marine battery & inverter route. Runs my tv, fan and music with no problem.

Just go to a private lot... we avoid the stadium lots because of the TSA Nazi's and the over zealous TPD.
