Question on Generators in TSA Lots

I would assume I know the answer to this, but since you can't toss a Nerf football in the RayJay lots without getting a pseudo-ticket, I wanted to ask to be sure.

 

Are gas-powered generators allowed in Lots 6/7?  Have a potential deal on a pretty good one that would also be a good thing to have around the house, but wanted to be sure.

Haven't had a problem with a small generator in Lot 3 but personalities do change from lot to lot ...

Define "small generator"....

This is what I've used and haven't had any problems....very, very quiet.  I'm in Lot 6D.

I thought of you all when we left my friends house on the way to Spartan Stadium. He said "oh hang on I need my football" I was awe struck at the opportunity to throw a football at a football tailgate.  

 

He still thinks I am lying about the restriction

Well... I bought one.  Hopefully it's not too big or loud, but if it is... still makes a good home generator for a storm.

we used to use one like that and just would park on an end of the row and put the generator away from other people, we also would lean plywood over it to muffle the sound

Should be fine... but you never know... the TSA is constantly trying to make USF tailgating a no fun zone.
