AAC bowl situation just went from bad to worse

According to Brett McMurphy's latest article:

If McMurphy is to be believed:

1) AAC getting froze out of bowls against "P5".

2) Aresco bowl can't get a "P5" opponent.

3) Any new bowls we create will be against "G5".

4) Liberty may not be a viable option. Looking at "P5 vs P5"

5) According to McMurphy, we are a "smaller conference". Whatever "smaller conference" is.

6) UCF bowl being considered, but will be against Sun Belt, MAC, or CUSA.

7) LA bowl might pitt AAC against MWC.

8) The independence and Military bowls (thought to be a lock for AAC) might be out also.

I don't think I've ever seen you post anything positive on this board, ever.

 

Guess we will have to wait and see what actually shakes out, as opposed to what McMurphy and his "sources" would like to see.

USF has to kick the door down.  I'm sure the bowl outlook for Boise St and TCU didn't look so hot just a few years ago.  They kicked the door down.  Does no good to cry about it.

What do u suggest is positive about the AAC bowl situation.

There isn't anything positive about it, or USFs future conf.

You know it and I know it. I am simply pointing out facts. When good things happen I will be more positive but right now it's not happening bowl or conference wise.

Why has Mcmurphy never posted anything positive about USF or the Big East...with this news, I guess we will have to shut down the football program [sarcasm].

Just because someone doesn't whine about a situation they have very little, if any, control over ....AD or fan ... doesn't mean they're happy about it.

I think you're providing a great service. Without your insightful contributions, none of us would have a clue to the situation USF, and the AAC, is in. You and The BM should be commended for your diligence ...
