It looks like a 70s shirt. You could wear that on campus today and easily get by telling people it's one of our throwbacks and no one would question you.

We should invite them to a sports off. Each team plays the respect team. To see who's better, of course.

hell, let's play them for the copyrights to the acronym.

Make them change their names to SFU. lolol.

And if we lose, we would have to be Univ. So. Fla. (and we would destroy them overall) .... I am just wondering, if you go up to a random person in let say Kansas CIty and say you are a USF grad, without saying anything else ... do they think Tampa/Orlando or San Francisco.

I bet a lot of the results will depend on their age. under 40 probably will think of us, and over 50 will think of San Fran more.

Hell when I say USF out here people know I'm talking about South FL. Abd I'm in the same state as the other USF

Mark my words, eventually U of San Fran will sue us over the use of "USF".

 

I am not sure about that... the interesting lawsuit would be U Miami suing us over our logo. Since we clearly copied the concept from them. (using the letter "U" even though we are not from Utah or a city that begins with U)   And I don't really think that lawsuit is coming, but that was something that they were alone on, until we came along.

 

 

we need to keep the lawyers busy

 

the lawyers will put an end to this unending stealing of trademarks and logos

I live off 3rd and Fairfax here in LA and 90% of people I tell i graduated from USF know Im talking about South Florida
