We're hurting so badly for a QB that it's like when you're so broke in college that you are looking for change to add to the last bit of money to get enough for some lunch. You get all excited, thinking that there's got to be money under the sofa or the easy chair (Trickett). Zilch!

 

You get depressed.

 

...But then you remember there's the car! Maybe there's change in the car. Enter Mr. Bench.

We need depth and options right now at QB, right now we have a bunch of walk-ons and a shotgun only chucker. 

 

I'll take what ever we can get to help us, and bringing in a guy who appears to take a snap from center and not have a guys who we all hope gets up after taking a hit (Eveld and Trickett) is fine with me.  I'm also fine with RS White to allow him to develop and really make a difference in the future rather than throwing him into the fire, especially when we have such a young running game too.

 

If he can play at Penn St, he can play here
