I think they should still call it Owlcatraz, regardless.

 

It's a good name.

 

The only thing that bothered me about the deal is that $6m came out of profits generated by Florida taxpayers. To use it for stadium naming rights, just seemed wrong (besides the whole "for-profit prison" which also seems wrong, but that's another thread)

I think Owlcatraz would have been epic! FAU will now need some other corporate sponsor to step up and pay big for the naming rights to their stadium.

I htink they should still use the moniker, regardless of who sponsors it. It's an awesome one.
