UCF to present its appeal of NCAA football postseason ban Thursday
University hopes to get one-year ban overturned for 2013 season, the school's first in the Big East

UCF will make its final case to the NCAA Thursday, hoping to avoid a football postseason ban during its first season in the Big East.

University officials are slated to present the university's case to the NCAA Division I Infractions Appeals Committee in Indianapolis and will base the appeal around four major issues, according to the appeal document UCF submitted to the NCAA.

Meh, the whole thing's a farce IMHO.

A truly ironic final Big East chapter would be for UCF to win the conference, and since they're ineligible for a bowl, the bowl committees decide that NO Big East team gets to go to the final BCS game. What a CF this conference is now...
