This kid just doesn't get the idea, does he?  And naturally, Brett just keeps putting in the same reference that Leavitt made last year that Fisher might be let back in if he straightened out.  I really wish he would have tempered that statement by including the fact that he said it a many arrests ago...

Ex-USF Receiver Fisher Has Sixth Arrest In Past Year

TAMPA - Former South Florida wide receiver Brian Fisher was arrested Monday for driving while his license was revoked as a habitual offender, his sixth arrest since last March.

Fisher was released after posting $2,000 bond. Fisher reportedly is attending Hillsborough Community College with hopes to play his final season at USF this fall.

If Fisher becomes academically eligible, USF still must petition the NCAA to determine if Fisher violated NCAA rules by playing for a private- club football team last fall.

USF coach Jim Leavitt has said Fisher could rejoin the Bulls if he solved all his legal and academic issues.

These are all arrests for driving with a suspended license, and it has become a running joke.

The kid is enrolled at HCC and probably uses a car to get there.

I don't know why it should even be in the paper.

His license wasn't suspended because he's a bad driver.

His license was suspended for being a bad father in not providing child support for his kids.

BUT, the child support cases were thrown out sometime ago and he therefore should have tried to get his license reinstated.

The point is that he keeps getting identified by the police as driving on a suspended license. Are they repeatedly pulling him over for traffic violations?

I haven't heard of him being charged with any traffic violations. The cops must know who he is.

Eh, isn't there a big police station right next to the HCC campus? Perhaps not the best area in which to attempt illegal activities.
