I'm working in Chicago so I was at the game and had a first row seat.

The attendance was bad.....way worse than even our games.

-Terrance, despite his numbers, played a very poor game.  I'm sure he will tell anyone that as well.  He just wasn't into it.  What is his problem?  He is a senior and should be playing his heart out.

-Coach McCullum is a great bench coach.  He really is prepared and knows exactly what is going on at all times.  If you sat as close as I did, everyone would notice the same thing.  He really adjusts well to what the other team is doing.

-Bryant....he was really sick.  Coughing and it was hard for him to breathe.

-Diarra...will we ever get anything out of him?

-Brigman...anyone know why he is only playing a minute or two??

-Swift was great.  He and McCullum are on the same page.

-Jones was pretty good, but he needs to develop that 15 foot shot, and he will be really tough.

-DePaul is a decent team, but without Diener....this game is pretty equal.  We are not that far behind.

-Prek....has to hit more open 3's and he was getting beat on D a lot.  He should be good though.

Funny observation.....with DePaul leading by 10 with 1 minute to go, the small crowd was going nuts on the officials.  They all were concerned about covering the number. :)  It was the most noise they made all night.

The reason attendance was low is because the Bulls were playing the Heat down the road.

Wagers... what adjustments do you guys talk about? We still lost by seven (the closest we got all game after the first half). If playing them even in the 2nd half is an adjustment... well, doesn't that say his initial game plan is flawed when we're down by 11 points at the break?

I'm so tired of playing teams tight in the 2nd half after getting worked by them in the opening 20 minutes. If maybe the game is tied at the half, he is the zen master of adjustments. But he seems no worse than Greenberg at making in game adjustments that prevent runs that get the game out of hand (I know as I sat through five years of that stuff).

Sherriff... i know you want us to win every game, but we are going against a team that on paper is much bigger/better/deeper than us, and on the road.  We beat them in the 2nd half... that is an adjustment... we just didn't beat them enough.  That 13-0 run in the first half hurt, but we have proved that we can hang with teams (UL/Marq/Depaul/Memphis) that are loaded with talent.  This is a slow developing system.  As long as you don't give it time, you will be complaining.

Velcro....this city is so big and those two arenas (United vs All State Center) are so far apart, that doesn't matter about the Bulls and Heat playing.  It's not like Tampa where the Lightning games effect the USF games.  The fact is DePaul has very little support.  When I was at the Marquette/DePaul game it only had about 7k and about 3 k were Marquette fans.  Seriously.

Also, did anyone notice that former prized USF recruit....Wesley Green sees as much action as Diarra does for us?  Wesley is the kid from Eustis that was a 4 star rivals center.

Sheriff, I want the hoops program to be good just like you.  I just don't think we have the horses.  Plus, when your best horse is emotionally up and down all the time, it's hard to get it going as a team.  T played for me, I know what Mac is going through.

I like all of Mac's recruits thus far.....Prek and Dennis will be good.  Plus the ones he's got coming in next year.  And I like the ones he's on right now (that are HS juniors).
