Had an ex High School girlfriend dive for Cal. I went there as well, but transferred in my Junior year. I hated the place...but I lived off campus student which was dumb.

Best area in the country for water polo as well. Cal and Stanford beat each other up for talent and championships. My nephew played Div 1 water polo. A brutal sport...got the life beat out of him underwater. Kicked, punched, grabbed, elbowed. All in a good game I suppose.

This is something that I do agree with Smazza on.

UNF, UF, FGCU, FIU, FAU, FSU, FAMU, UM

They used to. I think they have a national championship in it.

It's more cost effective to have 300 chicks on the cross country team than to hire a swimming or diving coach.

Really wished they did have swimming. That's my son's sport.

We did when I was at USF, they canceled it. They did when a National Championship I believe.

They were the 1985 Div II Women's Swimming & Diving National Champions

Ah, OK. I misunderstood. I thought it might be Div II but I was too lazy to research it.
