Orlando City is some gaya$$ soccer club Steve and is part of on-going third world hyper-sensitive revolution on US soil. Soccer is being marketed to tree huggers, the skinny jeans crowd, and the gay male Starbucks crowd that are trying to identify themselves with an athletic niche since they struggled with their own personal identities in middle school and high school. This group commonly wants a participation trophy awarded to every kid that plays a sport even though the real world doesn't give participation trophies in life - you're either a winner or a loser. The show Glee is a common rallying cry for this soccer group. They are trying to make a sport revelant in a country that loves baseball, football, and basketball.

We get it. You hate soccer. Now can you stop attacking the sport everytime it is brought up on this site? Soccer is consistently the best sport that USF competes in. Why must you try to bring everyone who enjoys the sport down?

That fact that baseball is included in your diatribe is proof that Americans are lemmings when it comes to baseball. If baseball were to be brought to America today, it would never make it. Not enough scoring, too long, and zero violence. BTW, I played HS Football and I am by no means a gay, shiny jeans wearing non athletic type. I once scored 4 touchdowns against Polk High.

I'm glad I can count on the US Men's Soccer team in the Olympics in 2012... oh wait... the game just got set back in the US by 10 years by tying a country no bigger than the state of Massachusetts. This kind of reminds me of all the Seth haters. Some of our fanbase effectively ran our coach out of town because he only kept us competitive. Our program essentially went into an eight year tailspin. US Soccer fans ran Bob Bradley out of town last year and US Men's Soccer effectively collapses. Comical to say the least.

This is interesting revisionist history.

Our program essentially went into an eight year tailspin. US Soccer fans ran Bob Bradley out of town last year and US Men's Soccer effectively collapses. Comical to say the least.

This was not a team that was coached by Bradley. This was the under 23 team, not the senior team. The Olympics are a third-tier competition because of restrictions placed on which players can participate by FIFA. I'd rather have seen the US win, of course, but that doesn't change the fact that nobody cares about Olympic soccer.

Also, so which is it? Do you care about soccer or not? Talking about soccer unprompted is the opposite of not caring about soccer.

2 gay references and a Glee aside. One might wonder if this is a Larry Craig, Mark Foley, Ted Haggard moment. They were all huge anti gay proponents until caught with pants around ankles. hmmmm...... B)
