One Amsterdam Admiral who will feel at home during training camp is outside linebacker Maurice Jones (Washington Redskins), who played his college ball at the University of South Florida – based in Tampa. The outside linebacker has good instincts and the ability to make plays across the field against the run, but will use his time in Europe to improve his play against the pass.If Redd has a chance to be the Berlin Thunder’s speed receiver, then Marque Davis (Seattle Seahawks) and Huey Whittaker (Jacksonville Jaguars) look to be their possession targets. Davis has good hands and runs precise routes, and is unafraid of going over the middle to make catches. At 6-foot-4, Whittaker is a massive target who uses his size to shield defensive backs and despite a lack of burning speed picks up yards after the catch. As a University of South Florida graduate, Whittaker will feel at home in Tampa Bay at training camp.
