This here will be my last post as most of you post with your heart and not with your head.  I try to keep it real!  USF Basketball is in absolute dire straits.  There is zero fan support both from the community and from the student population.  The players that are coming back flat out CAN'T PLAY in the BIG EAST.  There has been no progress made whatsoever.  The wins this year have come from teams that are a combined 53 games under 500 (See BM article).  This is progres I don't think so.  Recruiting has been a disaster as two of his recruits one whom CRM demed the point guard of the future left before Thanksgiving.  This is progress.  Our new point guard of the future isn't even playing this year as he left his old school because he was going to come off the bench.  This is progress.  The bottom line here is Seth was a bad floor coach we all saw it but he left MAC a ton of talent and he chose to dispand the team.  He then brings in his own players Holmes -can't play, Capko - can't play, Mobley - MIA, Waters - MIA, Dennis - role player at best, Prek - Shooter who can't guard and some nights can't shoot, Jones - softer than Morris and Mosley who was very good and we all hope makes a full recovery and lives a long and prosperous life.  I leave with this.  If Woolard thinks Mac can get it done in the Big East extend him after the season.  If not MAC will be done as the first two years will be as ugly as we have ever seen in college b-ball.

Why don't you come up with the extra $750k to bring Calipari in? I'm sure he would bring his thugs with him to the NBE.

Instead of always criticizing the current regime, why don't you come up with some solutions. You don't want to give CRM the chance to rebuild a program from the ground up then what do you suppose we do?

Greenie couldn't do anything for us in the CUSA and he left for a better paying ($170k more + incentives) job. He couldn't do the job here in a lesser conference and he got promoted!!

The assistant from Florida wouldn't touch this job. Should we fire CRM and hire a nobody? Maybe a high school coach.

What big name are you going to bring in to run this program and recruit for less pay than some assistants make. We barely pay as much as Cleveland State.

Support who we have or go support someone else.

This is exactly what makes no sense to me.  Dennis is just a freshman but Harvey knows what he will become down the road.  How effective were Swift and Leather as freshman?  I was scared to death when Swift was put on the floor the first couple of years.  Sure I would love to get a 'Diaper Dandy' and have a freshman stud to come in and help but once again I am realistic.

Come on now Harvey... No reason to turn the lights off for the few of us that enjoy reading your wisdom. I agree with much of what you say... although I do want to collect up on the bets we have by 2010! You, S Bien, Turkey Shizzler, and Wagers all provide good basketball insight... not everyone agrees with ya... but hey... I've been on the outside before... F-ck it! We all love the Bulls... some of us just don't wear Green and Gold glasses when it comes to winning!
