I am truly curious about attitudes on this. The mantra is always you have to step it up even more in lean times. After this past football season and the apparently rough ongoing basketball season, how many of you will increase your support (in donations, ticket purchases, attendance, etc.)? How many will decrease it? How many will keep it the same? I know other factors weigh into the monetary support decision but I wonder how many feel they are affected one way or the other on performance and perception. I am an alum actively engaged in the effort to recruit new support so I am always interested in getting feedback on this. My gut tells me my task will be that much tougher in the coming year.

I may reduce my number of season tickets to football next season, but that is 100% an issue with the economy. My donations will likely stay the same (albeit it's not very much anyway).

Pulling donations and reducing fan support theoretically makes the problems worse not better. I don't think we have a group of boosters that could buy out Heath, Holtz, or Woolard (not that I agree or disagree with removing any or all of them, just using an example).

My basic donor level will stay the same but I will drop 4 of my twelve tickets since I have trouble getting people to go and the economy is too tough to just throw money down the drain. I will contribute to the football ONLY pool to be used by our HC for recruiting and other football related items. I also will buy season bball tickets to get a jump on what I hope will be a turnaround in the near future.

Donor level and FB season ticket number will stay the same.

I added 2 extra MBB season tickets this season.

I'm going to drop one of my season tickets and just stay at 2 for now... I'm not in a donor level (125-126) so I don't have any incentive to keep the same amount. I used to have 4 season tickets, I'm only doing it because of the economic depression we have been in for the past what 3-4 years now, and like many of you its hard to find takers for the extra seats when have our mid-season swoon.

Instead I will donate to the FB Only pool next year and will buy some half season basketball tickets, and maybe some full seasons of baseball tickets.

Cutting your support because we had a bad season is only going to make issues worse.

I'll keep my 2 seats, same donor level. Will get basketball season tickets next year when we are back in the Sun Dome.

I will maintain my current donor level, my football tix (8) and my two basketball tix, for 2012.

I will not be increasing anything. Partly economy, but mostly due to lack of performance for both teams. Kind of hard to take a huge step backwards with what we are paying coaches, and ask for more money. Unless people have ridiculous money, which I don't, these are lean times and pay for performance is the rule.

On a side note, like many others, I couldn't get people to come to games (other than UM) once we started losign games. I ate 3 tickets at the WVU game. I literally tried to give them away at the stadium, for free, and could not find a single taker. There were hundreds of tickets available.

If skippy has a year next year like this one, we will need a change. Also not sure Woolard has his act together. This Big East mess has been very poorly handled.
